Ryland Road – roof terrace

A sunny penthouse roof terrace bursting to the very seams with colourful planting. It is much loved and tended by the owners. The containers are in a strong deep blue colour with metal feet and stands to match. A special soil mix was developed to support the planting mix. Pine Grove

The landscaping of this large garden preceeds the rebuild of the house. Inspired by the clean lines of Renaissance Italian gardens, it has been composed using tones of green that are layered and tiered to create strong geometrical shapes and lines. There is predominantly green topiary utilising Holm Oak, Yew and Box with a large pre-existing 'button' of Holly as the centrepiece of the rear garden. Functional requirements [.....]
