A sunny penthouse roof terrace bursting to the very seams with colourful planting. It is much loved and tended by the owners. The containers are in a strong deep blue colour with metal feet and stands to match. A special soil mix was developed to support the planting mix. Trellis work to match the interior RAL colours and finish is enhanced with planting of Clematis and Trachelspermum. Structural planting is provided by Ilex crenata, Myrtus tarentina and Rosmarinus prostratus. Rowans ( Mountain ash trees and aptly named as such ) were added to provided fruits for birds and places to perch. Goldfinches and butterflies are now regular visitors to this green eyrie in the sky.
